Have you heard about our Compassionate Care Fund?
In 2022, Together we helped 185 Omaha area pets receive the care they needed totaling over $71,430! Thank you for making this possible.
Ralston Vet is partnered with the Veterinary Care Foundation. This allows us to make and take charitable donations to help care for pets in the Omaha community. 100% of every charitable dollar contributed to Ralston Vet’s Compassionate Care Fund is used directly to support the care of these pets. Foundation funds are intended for the following use:
- Assist pet owners in financial crisis.
- Care for police /fire and service animals.
- Provide support to pets of families in crisis.
- Funding for pets harmed or displaced due to local disasters (such as weather, fire, ect)
- Funding for good Samaritan cases

This was our first time to Ralston Vet and Bailey was not right. There were a lot of things going on that we could not find the answers to. The Doctor discussed that she would need to be quarantined and hospitalized for several days.
The Doctor discussed with me the financial breakdown of the stay. I let her know what I could do, but it wasn’t enough as she ended up staying in the hospital a total of 23 days. The Doctor immediately discussed with me that Ralston Vet would pick up the rest from what I discussed I could do.
I cannot express how wonderful it was for me at that time and to have that support. I was able to see Bailey every day and visit her in nice comfortable rooms and had attentive care on a daily basis. Bailey is currently doing so much better and we have a diagnosis of what’s going on.
Not everyone may know that if you have an IRA you can donate your funds tax free. I was able to give back to Ralston Vet. Because you (RVC) were so wonderful to me that I wanted to do that for others when I was able to. I would recommend that anyone who has this opportunity have it set up and help the next person in need. You never know when it may be you.
