Dr Parkening

Dr. Parkening spent her childhood in different parts of the United States due to her family’s military background. She earned her DVM degree from Kansas State University in 2011 and began her career as a mixed animal practitioner.

After practicing small animal medicine for five years in Lincoln, Nebraska, Dr. Parkening joined the Ralston Vet team in 2018. She is highly knowledgeable and has a particular interest in soft tissue surgery and orthopedics, which enables her to provide exceptional care to all clients.

In her free time, Dr. Parkening enjoys spending time with her cat Clambake, meeting friends for coffee, participating in church activities, and game nights. Despite her busy schedule as a veterinarian, she always finds time to spend with her family. She is a proud mother to her daughter and loves spending time with her and her husband, whether they’re exploring the outdoors or reading together at home. Dr. Parkening attributes her success to her family’s unwavering love and support.
